Alma Maggey Borgarsdóttir, as a newly graduated Biomedical Laboratory Scientist (BMA), has returned to the Neonatal Neuroprotection Group for the summer of 2023 as a participant of the summer research program at Lund University. Her research project during this period will be focused on the analysis of oxidative stress biomarkers in neonates undergoing open-heart surgery on cardiopulmonary bypass.
